Job Overview
The Community Manager Disability Services Clare role offers an excellent opportunity to lead and develop high-quality disability services in Ennis, County Clare. This permanent wholetime position is with Corlann Ireland, a Section 38 organisation funded by the HSE Mid West region.
Reporting at Social Care Manager Grade 3 level, the Community Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure person-centred, compliant and outcome-focused services for individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership and governance across disability services in the Clare area.
- Ensure delivery of person-centred, rights-based services in line with national standards and regulations.
- Lead, support and supervise multidisciplinary teams to achieve service objectives.
- Oversee quality, risk management and compliance frameworks.
- Manage budgets, resources and workforce planning effectively.
- Collaborate with families, stakeholders and external agencies to enhance service provision.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with organisational strategy.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant third-level qualification in Social Care, Health & Social Care, or a related discipline.
- Eligibility to work at Social Care Manager 3 (Grade 3373) level.
- Significant management experience within disability or social care services.
- Strong leadership, organisational and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIQA standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Full clean driving licence and access to transport (if required).
