The Community Services Manager Disability role in Sligo Town offers an exciting leadership opportunity within The Rehab Group, a publicly funded Section 39 organisation operating in the HSE West and North West region. This permanent wholetime position focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred disability services while leading and supporting multidisciplinary teams.
This is a senior leadership opportunity suited to experienced health and social care professionals with a strong background in service management and disability support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across community-based disability services.
- Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred supports aligned with regulatory and organisational standards.
- Lead, supervise and develop multidisciplinary teams to achieve service objectives.
- Manage budgets, resources and service planning in line with funding agreements.
- Drive continuous quality improvement and compliance with HIQA and relevant statutory standards.
- Engage with families, stakeholders and partner agencies to enhance service delivery.
- Contribute to organisational development initiatives within The Rehab Group.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Health & Social Care (essential).
- Health and Social Care Managers Qualification (essential).
- Minimum 3 years’ management experience in a health or disability service setting.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of disability services, safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in team development and performance management.
