An exceptional senior medical opportunity is available for a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join CAMHS within the HSE Mid West region. This role offers significant clinical leadership responsibility, service development influence, and the opportunity to shape specialist mental health care for children and adolescents across Limerick, Clare, and North Tipperary.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide consultant-level psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children and adolescents
• Lead and contribute to multidisciplinary CAMHS teams across the region
• Support service planning, governance, and clinical quality improvement initiatives
• Deliver specialist consultation and supervision to medical and clinical colleagues
• Participate in on-call and rota commitments as required
• Engage in audit, teaching, and research activities aligned with service needs
• Ensure compliance with HSE clinical governance and professional standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registration as a Specialist in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry with the Irish Medical Council
• Eligibility to work as a Consultant within the Irish public health system
• Demonstrated expertise in child and adolescent mental health services
• Strong leadership, clinical governance, and multidisciplinary team experience
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
