As part of our major Billing and Customer Record Systems upgrade, we have exciting 12–15 month hybrid contract opportunities in Dublin and Belfast across Operations, Billing, Credit Control, and Energy Advisory functions.

About the Role
As a Customer Service & Operations Advisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of SSE Airtricity’s customer experience. You’ll handle a mix of administrative and service tasks that directly support our billing, credit, and operational systems. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy working collaboratively to deliver meaningful results for both customers and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day customer and operational queries, ensuring all cases are followed through to completion.
- Accurately process data, invoices, and customer records in line with company standards.
- Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams via phone, email, and digital channels.
- Support system transition activities during major digital upgrades by identifying and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain a seamless customer experience.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and workflows.
Required Qualifications
Essential
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Clear and confident communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Experience handling data, billing, or customer account information.
- A proactive and adaptable attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine passion for customer service and teamwork.
Preferred
- Experience in energy, utilities, or financial services.
- Familiarity with CRM or billing software.
- Knowledge of credit control processes or digital transformation projects.
