An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst at Grade VI to support the National Care Experience Programme (NCEP). This role plays a key part in analysing and reporting patient experience data to inform service improvement and national healthcare decision-making. The post is based at Dr Steevens’ Hospital, Dublin, and is open to permanent HSE staff at the same grade only.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate the collection of patient experience survey data across multiple sources
• Manage, validate, and analyse large datasets from national surveys and databases
• Produce regular and ad-hoc analytical reports for senior management and stakeholders
• Support the Operations Manager in monitoring programme performance and outcomes
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with governance standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement in data collection and reporting processes
• Present findings in clear, accessible formats for non-technical audiences
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Permanent appointment at Grade VI within the HSE (essential – confined competition)
• Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and information management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with multiple data sources and databases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines
