Job Overview
The Domestic Supervisor Mental Health Sligo Leitrim role offers an excellent opportunity to lead and coordinate domestic services within Mental Health Services across Sligo and Leitrim. This permanent wholetime position plays a key role in maintaining high hygiene standards, operational efficiency, and service quality within HSE facilities.
You will supervise domestic staff, manage workloads effectively, and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards while supporting a safe and therapeutic environment for service users and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate domestic services across designated Mental Health facilities.
- Manage and prioritise high-volume workloads to meet operational deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene standards and infection prevention protocols.
- Monitor quality standards and implement service improvements where required.
- Support, mentor, and guide domestic staff to maintain high performance levels.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure operational compliance.
- Travel between sites as required to oversee service delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in an operational setting.
- Proven experience managing and prioritising high-volume workloads.
- Demonstrated depth and breadth of experience in Hygiene Standards relevant to the role.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Access to own vehicle and willingness to travel as required.
