This Electrician Dublin HSE Job offers an excellent opportunity to join the Engineering Department at St Marys Hospital, Phoenix Park. The role supports essential electrical maintenance and infrastructure across healthcare facilities, contributing directly to safe and efficient patient care environments.
The successful candidate will be part of Capital & Estates within the HSE Dublin North and East Region, with potential flexibility to work across multiple sites as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and standards
- Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions promptly
- Support preventative maintenance programmes across hospital facilities
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and inspections carried out
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure operational efficiency
- Respond to emergency maintenance issues as required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Recognised electrical trade qualification
- Relevant experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a healthcare or large facility setting
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and compliance
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work across different HSE locations if required
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
The salary scale for this position ranges from €42,065 to €48,369 per annum, depending on experience and progression within the scale.
Contracts available include permanent whole-time, part-time, and specified purpose roles. Benefits include public sector pension, annual leave entitlements, and opportunities for professional development within the HSE.
