This is a fixed-term, part-time opportunity within a well-established Section 38 organisation delivering high-quality supports to people with intellectual disabilities.

This Enhanced Nurse Practitioner Ennis role offers a rewarding opportunity to work autonomously while contributing to multidisciplinary, person-centred care within the HSE Mid West region.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide advanced clinical nursing care to individuals with intellectual disabilities
• Undertake comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and care planning
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and service users
• Promote health, wellbeing, and safeguarding in line with national standards
• Support evidence-based practice and continuous service improvement
• Contribute to education, mentoring, and clinical leadership within the service
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registration as a Nurse on the NMBI Register (Intellectual Disability division)
• Qualification aligned to Enhanced Nurse (Intellectual Disability) Grade 2284
• Demonstrated experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
• Strong clinical decision-making and autonomous practice skills
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational abilities
• Eligibility to work in Ireland

• Salary: In line with HSE Consolidated Salary Scales for Enhanced Nurse (Intellectual Disability) Grade 2284
