Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is seeking a Facilities and Transport Manager to oversee essential operational functions across its Ennis-based services. This permanent, wholetime Grade VII role offers a strong leadership opportunity within a respected Section 38 organisation.
Table of Contents
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day facilities management across multiple service locations
• Manage transport operations to ensure safe, efficient service delivery
• Lead compliance with health and safety standards
• Supervise facilities and transport staff, including rosters and performance management
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and external contractor work
• Prepare budgets, reports, and operational plans
• Support strategic improvements to infrastructure and logistical processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Relevant third-level qualification in facilities, transport, operations, or related field
• Experience in facilities management and/or transport coordination
• Strong leadership and team-management capabilities
• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
• Knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Experience in a health, social care, or community setting (desirable)

• Grade VII (0582) salary scale applies • Permanent wholetime contract
