As a Field Sales Executive, you will act as a trusted advisor, guiding residential and commercial customers through their solar investment journey while helping to transform how energy is generated across the North-West.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, prospect, and close new sales opportunities through consultative in-home presentations
• Conduct property assessments and analyse customer energy usage
• Design customised solar PV solutions tailored to each client
• Present detailed proposals including system specifications, savings projections, and incentives
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry to closed deal using CRM software
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Build strong relationships with homeowners, business owners, farmers, and commercial partners
• Collaborate with technical and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Attend local trade events, exhibitions, and community outreach activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years’ proven experience in field sales (home improvement, energy, or high-value sales preferred)
• Strong background in sales with demonstrable closing ability
• Experience using CRM software and sales technology
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Full clean Irish driving licence (required)
• Knowledge of solar PV or willingness to learn quickly
• Ability to work independently and manage a regional sales territory
• Passion for renewable energy and customer satisfaction
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary: €35,000–€40,000 per year (basic)
• On-target earnings (OTE): €60,000+ with uncapped commission
