Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is seeking a skilled Finance Officer (Grade VI) to join its Limerick team. This permanent, wholetime position offers an excellent opportunity to support the organisation’s financial operations across a wide range of essential services.
Table of Contents
Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day financial administration and reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting and year-end processes
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures and audit requirements
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll-related controls
• Prepare financial statements, reconciliations and analytical reports
• Liaise with internal teams, external auditors and stakeholders
• Contribute to service improvement and financial governance initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Relevant qualification in accountancy, finance or business
• Experience in a similar finance or administration role
• Strong knowledge of financial systems, reporting and controls
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
