This Financial Analyst CMSU job (Grade VII) with the Health Service Executive offers a permanent opportunity within the Dublin and South East region. The role supports the Contract Management Support Unit (CMSU) in reviewing Annual Financial Statements of agencies funded under HSE service or grant aid arrangements. Based in Dublin South, this is a key financial governance position within the public health system.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct detailed reviews of Annual Financial Statements submitted by funded agencies
• Support compliance monitoring across Service Arrangements and Grant Aid Agreements
• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders regarding financial governance requirements
• Prepare reports, summaries and recommendations for senior management
• Liaise with agencies to clarify financial queries and ensure accurate submissions
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial oversight processes
• Assist the CMSU Manager in delivering organisational objectives
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field
• Experience in financial analysis, auditing, or public-sector finance
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and compliance requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a demanding workload
• Familiarity with HSE governance processes is an advantage
