About the Role
As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you’ll play a key role in creating memorable experiences for guests in our bar and dining areas. You’ll maintain high service standards and support daily operations under the supervision of the Bar Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome, seat, and serve hotel guests and visitors.
- Take and deliver accurate food and drink orders.
- Serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic, and hot beverages.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness across service areas.
- Handle phone orders and room service requests.
- Follow all operational procedures and safety standards.
- Assist colleagues and follow direction from the Manager on Duty.
Required Qualifications
Essential
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in a customer-facing role (hospitality preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable, organized, and a positive team player.
- Flexible availability for evening and weekend shifts.
Preferred
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment.
- Familiarity with HACCP standards and food safety protocols.
- Barista or bar service training advantageous but not essential.
