This Grade IV Assistant Staff Officer HR Recruitment role offers an excellent opportunity to join the Health Service Executive (HSE) Dublin and Midlands region in a permanent capacity. You will support large-scale recruitment activity, working within a fast-paced HR environment that plays a vital role in delivering healthcare services.
Table of Contents
This role is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants and is ideal for candidates with strong recruitment administration and HR systems experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Support end-to-end recruitment campaigns across multiple services
• Manage high-volume recruitment activity within agreed timelines
• Use HR information systems and applicant tracking systems effectively
• Prepare recruitment documentation and correspondence
• Ensure compliance with HR legislation, policies, and procedures
• Liaise with hiring managers and internal stakeholders
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and reports
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Experience working in a busy Recruitment or Human Resources function
• Previous experience in a healthcare or large public-sector organisation (desirable)
• Demonstrated experience using HR systems and applicant tracking systems
• Proven ability to manage high-volume recruitment campaigns
• Knowledge of HR legislation, policies, and procedures
• Strong organisational, communication, and administrative skills

• Salary: As per HSE Grade IV Clerical & Administrative payscale (August 2025 rates)
