St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network is seeking an experienced Grade IV Outpatients Reception Supervisor to lead and coordinate front-line outpatient reception services. This permanent whole-time role plays a key part in ensuring a professional, efficient, and patient-focused experience within a highly specialised oncology service.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and support outpatient reception staff, ensuring high standards of patient service
• Coordinate daily reception operations, patient flow, and appointment management
• Act as a key point of contact for patients, families, clinicians, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure accurate data entry, record management, and compliance with HSE policies
• Manage rosters, leave, and day-to-day staffing requirements
• Support service improvements and contribute to operational planning
• Handle complex queries and resolve issues in a sensitive and professional manner
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Relevant administrative or supervisory experience in a healthcare or public service setting
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage teams and prioritise workloads in a busy environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach
• Strong IT, data management, and reporting skills
• Experience within the Irish public health service is desirable but not essential

• Salary in line with HSE Grade IV (0558) Clerical & Management Administration pay scale, as per consolidated public sector salary scales effective August 2025
