Job Overview
The Grade V Finance Job in Wexford offers an excellent opportunity for experienced finance professionals currently employed within the public health sector. Based at Wexford Town Primary Care Centre, this permanent wholetime post plays a key role in supporting financial operations within HSE Dublin and South East.
This position is open strictly to employees of the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, or statutory health agencies in line with WRC Agreement 161867. The successful candidate will contribute to effective financial management, governance, and service delivery across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive financial and payroll support within the assigned service area.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with HSE financial procedures.
- Supervise and support administrative and finance staff as required.
- Utilise IFMS or similar financial systems to manage transactions and reporting.
- Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis.
- Prepare financial reports and documentation for management review.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrated depth and breadth of experience in a financial or payroll setting.
- Proven experience working with IFMS or a similar financial management system.
- Supervisory experience with the ability to lead and support a team.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Eligibility in accordance with internal recruitment requirements.
- Must be a current employee of the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, or a statutory health agency.
