Job Overview

The Grade VII Business Manager Dublin & South East role offers an exciting opportunity to support Technology and Transformation initiatives across the region. Reporting within the Regional Technology & Transformation function, this position plays a key role in business planning, governance, stakeholder engagement and operational support.

This is a specified purpose, 24-month whole-time vacancy within HSE Dublin and South East. A panel may be formed from this campaign for future permanent or specified purpose vacancies, subject to HSE restructuring developments.

Eligibility: This position is strictly open to employees of the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, or statutory health agencies in line with WRC Agreement 161867.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support regional Technology & Transformation planning and operational delivery.
  • Provide high-level business management, reporting and governance support.
  • Engage professionally with senior management, National Directors, clinicians and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate workload management and project support functions across the region.
  • Prepare briefing materials, reports and presentations for leadership forums.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
  • Attend meetings across the Dublin & South East region as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Significant experience working in a busy environment interacting professionally with senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in business management, planning, workload management or project support roles.
  • Experience in technology or transformation environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver within tight timelines.
  • Access to appropriate transport is essential due to regional travel requirements.
  • Must meet internal eligibility criteria as outlined in the advertisement.

  • Salary in line with HSE Grade VII (0582) consolidated pay scales.

Location & Employer Information

The successful candidate will be based at one of the two main Dublin & South East Regional Technology & Transformation sites:

  • Iveagh Building, Carrickmines Park, Carrickmines, Dublin 18 (Corporate Office).
  • Lacken Offices, Dublin Road, Kilkenny.

If based in Kilkenny, regular travel to the Dublin office will be required. The HSE Dublin & South East region covers South Dublin, Wicklow, Carlow, Kilkenny, South Tipperary, Waterford and Wexford.

This position is within the Health Service Executive and forms part of the regional Technology & Transformation leadership support structure.
