The Grade VII SAP CoE Senior Business Analyst – Core Finance & FP&A is a key national role within Technology & Transformation. This permanent opportunity supports SAP Core Finance and Financial Planning & Analysis solutions across HSE digital hubs nationwide.
This position offers experienced SAP professionals the opportunity to drive enterprise-level finance transformation within Ireland’s public health system.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities for SAP Core Finance and FP&A modules.
- Engage with finance stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements.
- Support SAP configuration, testing, implementation, and optimisation.
- Ensure alignment with national finance strategy and governance standards.
- Provide subject matter expertise on SAP financial processes and reporting.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Technology & Transformation.
- Support data migration, integration, and system enhancement projects.
- Prepare documentation and reports for senior management and governance forums.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Eligibility restricted to employees of the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, or statutory health agencies (WRC Agreement 161867).
- Relevant third-level qualification in Business, Finance, ICT, or related discipline.
- Significant experience working with SAP Core Finance and FP&A modules.
- Strong stakeholder management and analytical skills.
- Experience delivering large-scale ICT or transformation projects.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work nationally across multiple digital hub locations.

Location & Employer Information
This role sits within the Health Service Executive (HSE), Technology & Transformation division.
SAP CoE operates nationally with digital hubs located across Ireland including Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Sligo, Kilkenny, Kerry, Offaly, Meath, Leitrim, Louth, and Tipperary. The specific base will be agreed at appointment stage, with flexibility subject to minimum availability for relevant SAP CoE and Technology & Transformation meetings.
The base for induction will be agreed prior to start date.
