Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based midwifery care to women and their families
- Assist in antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care under supervision
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and professional standards
- Participate in training, education, and continuous professional development
- Support patient education and health promotion initiatives
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Qualification in Midwifery (or due to qualify) with eligibility for registration
- Registration (or awaiting registration) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to delivering patient-centred care
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally
- Understanding of HSE policies and healthcare standards (desirable)
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary: €33,040 per annum
Working Hours: Full-time, rostered shifts including days, nights, and weekends
