Bluebird Care is recruiting Health Care Assistants to provide high-quality personal care in clients’ own homes across all areas of Donegal including Letterkenny, Ballybofey, Donegal Town, Inishowen, Gweedore, and Cardonagh. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Table of Contents
Key Responsibilities
• Support clients with personal care including dressing and hygiene.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Monitor and report changes in health or wellbeing as per protocol.
• Prepare meals and promote positive mealtime experiences.
• Provide care compliant with Bluebird Care policies and standards.
• Encourage social interaction for clients to improve wellbeing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Essential:
• QQI Level 5 modules in Care of the Older Person and Care Skills/Healthcare Support OR
• Minimum 1 year of caring experience and willingness to complete the qualification modules.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Own transport.
• Strong confidentiality and boundary management.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Pay: Up to €15.20 per hour
Competitive rates based on grade and time worked:
• Weekday, Sunday, and Bank Holiday enhanced pay available.
• Paid mileage and travel time as per company policy.
• Permanent, full-time hours.
