Comfort Keepers Ireland is expanding its dedicated care team in Manorhamilton, County Leitrim. This role supports clients with personal care, daily living activities, emotional reassurance, and safe home environments. Positions are available on a permanent full-time or part-time basis, offering flexibility and excellent career development.
Table of Contents
Key Responsibilities
• Provide personal care including hygiene, dressing support and continence care
• Assist with mobility, medication prompts and morning/evening routines
• Prepare meals and support with nutrition and hydration
• Carry out light housekeeping to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
• Offer companionship, emotional reassurance and respectful communication
• Promote client independence and dignity at all times
• Follow established care plans and maintain accurate visit notes
• Travel between client homes as scheduled
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Genuine compassion, patience and strong interpersonal skills
• QQI Care Skills and Care of the Older Person (or willingness to complete)
• A recognised healthcare qualification is an advantage
• Access to a reliable car and a full EU driving licence (required)
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
• Ability to obtain international police clearance if required
• Strong reliability, trustworthiness and a person-centred approach
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Hourly rates up to €17 per hour
