Job Overview
The ICT Project Officer Grade VI role with HSE Dublin & South East offers an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of key Technology & Transformation initiatives across the region. This permanent wholetime post is based within the DSE Technology & Transformation (T&T) function and plays a critical role in project coordination, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
This ICT Project Officer Grade VI position is open to employees of the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, or statutory health agencies in line with WRC Agreement 161867.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and coordination of ICT and transformation projects across the HSE Dublin & South East region
- Prepare professional reports, documentation, and project updates for senior stakeholders
- Monitor project milestones, timelines, risks, and deliverables
- Engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary stakeholders across services
- Assist in governance, compliance, and project assurance processes
- Support implementation of formal project management methodologies
- Travel between regional sites as required to support project delivery
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience supporting the delivery of projects, preferably within ICT or healthcare environments
- Significant experience preparing professional documents and reports
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
- Access to appropriate transport as travel between sites is required
- Flexibility to work occasional out-of-hours when necessary
- Commitment to achieving certification in a recognised project management methodology (e.g. PRINCE2 or PMP) within 6 months of appointment
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary scale for this Grade VI position ranges from €57,898 to €70,734, including Long Service Increments (LSIs), in line with HSE pay scales.
This is a permanent wholetime position. Hybrid working opportunities may be available in accordance with the HSE blended working policy.
Location & Employer Information
This role is based within FSS Bhaile Átha Cliath agus an Oirdheiscirt, HSE Dublin & South East (HSE DSE), covering South Dublin, Wicklow, Carlow, Kilkenny, South Tipperary, Waterford, and Wexford.
The successful candidate will be based at one of the main DSE T&T sites:
- Dublin (Corporate Office), Iveagh Building, Carrickmines Park, Carrickmines, Dublin, D18 X015
- Kilkenny, Lacken, Dublin Road, Kilkenny
If based in Kilkenny, regular travel to the Dublin office will be required. A panel may be formed from this campaign to fill current and future permanent or specified purpose vacancies.
