Job Overview
This Grade VI ICT Project Officer role within the Dublin and South East Technology & Transformation (DSE T&T) function offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the delivery of critical digital infrastructure and operations across the HSE. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting ICT projects, ensuring effective service delivery, and collaborating with stakeholders across the health service.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of ICT digital infrastructure and operations projects
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved
- Assist in the coordination and administration of ICT service delivery
- Provide support within ICT Service Desk or similar operational environments
- Monitor project progress and contribute to reporting requirements
- Ensure alignment with HSE policies and digital transformation strategies
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving ICT-related issues
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience supporting digital infrastructure and ICT operations or Service Desk functions
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of ICT infrastructure including networks, servers, desktops, mobile devices, and Wi-Fi systems
- Experience in a similar ICT or project support role
- Qualification in an IT-related discipline
- Strong organisational and communication skills
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale (Grade VI): €57,898 – €70,734 (including long service increments)
Working Hours: Full-time permanent (Wholetime)

Location & Employer Information
This role is based within HSE Dublin and South East Technology & Transformation.
The successful candidate will be assigned to one of the following locations:
- Iveagh Building, Carrickmines Park, Carrickmines, Dublin, D18 X015
- Lacken Offices, Dublin Road, Kilkenny
Hybrid working arrangements may apply. Candidates based in Kilkenny will be required to travel to the Dublin office as needed.
