Job Overview
The Integrated Scheduled Care Co Ordinator is a senior leadership opportunity within HSE Dublin and South East, focused on improving access, reducing waiting lists and delivering high-impact service reform. This Grade VIII position plays a strategic role in advancing scheduled care programmes and implementing national healthcare policies at regional level.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced healthcare manager with strong expertise in scheduled care, wait list management and organisational change to lead service improvements that directly benefit patients across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate scheduled care and waiting list management initiatives across the region.
- Drive implementation of national policies and programmes at regional level.
- Develop and execute strategic service improvement plans aligned with HSE objectives.
- Provide high-quality reports and performance analysis to senior management.
- Oversee governance, performance monitoring and service optimisation initiatives.
- Support effective change management and continuous improvement across services.
- Engage with key stakeholders to enhance patient access and service delivery outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Significant management experience in Scheduled Care and Wait List management.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and implementing service improvements.
- Proven ability to develop detailed reports for senior management.
- Demonstrated capacity to deliver national healthcare policies and programmes regionally.
- Strong leadership, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale (Grade VIII – 0655): €83,081 – €100,205 per annum
This permanent wholetime position offers a structured incremental salary scale from €83,081 to €100,205, in line with public sector pay agreements.

Location & Employer Information
This position is based at the Iveagh Building, Carrickmines, Dublin 18, within HSE Dublin and South East. The region covers Tipperary South, Waterford, Kilkenny, Carlow, Wexford, Wicklow and part of South Dublin.
Working within the Health Service Executive provides the opportunity to contribute to strategic healthcare improvements at scale, impacting patient access and quality of care across multiple counties.
