An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Medical Officer to join services in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care in line with HSE standards and best practice
- Support the planning and delivery of clinical services across the region
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centred care
- Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
- Supervise and support junior medical staff where required
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
- Engage in continuous professional development and training
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Medical degree with full registration with the Irish Medical Council
- Relevant experience at Medical Officer or Senior level
- Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to high standards of patient care and safety
- Experience in public health or community care settings is desirable
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary scale ranges from €96,803 to €115,792 per annum (including applicable LSIs).
Permanent Wholetime position with consideration for a 0.5 WTE arrangement for a suitable candidate.
