Job Overview
The Multi Task Attendant role across West Cork Community Healthcare Area 10 offers an opportunity to support essential patient and client care services within a range of hospital and community settings. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and supportive environment for patients, residents, and staff. Successful candidates will contribute directly to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services across multiple facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with cleaning, hygiene, and maintenance duties across clinical and non-clinical areas
- Support patient movement and general care tasks as required
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in line with infection control standards
- Handle waste disposal and linen management in accordance with procedures
- Assist catering and food service delivery where required
- Support staff in day-to-day operational duties within healthcare facilities
- Ensure all duties are carried out in a respectful and patient-focused manner
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare or support environment is desirable
- Strong understanding of hygiene and infection control practices
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work across different locations and shifts
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient support services
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale: €36,288 – €45,484 (based on experience and HSE pay scales)
Contract Types: Permanent Part-time, Permanent Wholetime, Specified Purpose Part-time, Specified Purpose Wholetime
