Job Overview
The Occupational Therapist will deliver high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy services to individuals accessing Corlann disability supports. The role focuses on enhancing independence, participation, and quality of life through evidence-based assessment and intervention.
You will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team across services in the HSE Mid West region.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
- Develop and implement individualised care and therapy plans.
- Support service users to maximise independence and functional ability.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary disability team.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records.
- Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Engage in continuing professional development and supervision.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with CORU (or eligibility to register).
- Experience working in disability services is desirable.
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full driving licence may be required.
