The Practice Tutor Radiation Therapist Dublin position offers an exciting opportunity to join St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network in Dublin South as a Clinical Specialist. This permanent wholetime role plays a vital part in supporting clinical education, professional development, and excellence in radiation therapy practice within a leading HSE service.
The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality patient care while advancing clinical education standards and supporting the development of radiation therapy professionals across the network.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical education, supervision, and mentorship to radiation therapy staff and students.
- Support the implementation of evidence-based radiation therapy practices.
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and clinical governance initiatives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist in the design and delivery of structured training programmes.
- Participate in audit, research, and professional development activities.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Qualification in Radiation Therapy recognised by CORU.
- Registration with CORU as a Radiation Therapist.
- Significant post-qualification clinical experience in radiation therapy.
- Demonstrated expertise at Clinical Specialist level.
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and service improvement.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
