Key Responsibilities
• Conduct vehicle test inspections in line with standard NCT procedures
• Manage customer interactions, answering queries professionally and clearly
• Maintain accurate records of all testing work and administrative tasks
• Process customer payments and safeguard confidential information
• Support smooth daily operations and maintain the Test Centre’s housekeeping standards
• Liaise with call centre teams regarding scheduling and customer issues
• Deliver consistently high levels of customer service
• Travel occasionally to nearby test centres when required
• Perform additional duties as needed within the Test Centre
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Dept. of Education & Science Motor Trade Certificate, National Craft Certificate, or QQI Level 5 equivalent in Motor Mechanics, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Vehicle Body Repair, or similar
• Minimum 1 year’s experience in a garage, accident repair centre, or similar automotive environment
• Full, valid driving licence (required)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel occasionally to support nearby centres

• Salary: €40,123.20–€45,472.96 per year
• Contract: Full-time, permanent
• Schedule: Flexitime with occasional travel
