Letterkenny University Hospital is seeking applications for the position of Staff Grade Radiographer to join its dynamic Radiography Department. Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of diagnostic radiography procedures to a high professional standard
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with departmental protocols
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment
- Adhere to radiation protection guidelines and best practice standards
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Support training and supervision of junior staff and students where required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Radiography
- Registration or eligibility for registration with CORU
- Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques and safety standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Previous clinical experience in a hospital setting is desirable
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary scale ranges from €44,511 to €63,599 per annum (aligned with HSE pay scales). This is a Permanent Wholetime position offering job security, public sector pension scheme, annual leave entitlements, and opportunities for ongoing professional development and training.
