Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with departmental protocols and professional standards
- Provide high-quality patient-centred care throughout all imaging procedures
- Ensure compliance with radiation protection and health and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment safely and effectively
- Support quality assurance initiatives within the Radiology Department
- Participate in continuing professional development and training activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Qualification recognised for CORU registration as a Radiographer
- Registration or eligibility for registration with CORU
- Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and radiation safety standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
- Strong organisational and patient care skills
- Previous hospital radiography experience is desirable
- Commitment to continuous professional development
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary for this Staff Grade Radiographer position will be aligned with HSE salary scales for Grade 3093 roles.
