Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is seeking a skilled Recruitment Specialist (Grade IV) to join its West Region HR team. Based in either Roscommon Town, Co. Roscommon or Clairnbridge, Co. Galway, this is a full-time specified-purpose contract supporting recruitment and talent acquisition across disability services. This role is ideal for HR and administration professionals looking to develop their expertise in a purpose-driven organisation.
Table of Contents
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes for designated services and departments
• Manage candidate screening, shortlisting, and interview scheduling
• Prepare job advertisements, recruitment documentation, and onboarding packs
• Liaise with hiring managers to support workforce planning needs
• Maintain accurate HR and recruitment records
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and employment legislation
• Provide administrative support to the Recruitment & Talent Manager
• Support continuous improvements in talent acquisition systems and processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Previous experience in recruitment, HR administration, or a similar Grade IV role
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work to deadlines in a busy environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/recruitment systems
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
• Knowledge of employment law and recruitment best practice (desirable)
• Experience in the health, social care, or non-profit sector (advantageous)
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale (Grade IV – 0558, effective 1 August 2025):
€35,609 – €37,741 – €38,597 – €40,760 – €42,740 – €44,473 – €46,151 – €48,414 – €50,059 – €51,718 – €53,296 – €54,914 (LSIs)

• Hours: 35 hours per week
