Job Overview
Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Audiologist Dublin to join its specialist paediatric audiology services in Dublin South. This fixed-term wholetime position offers the opportunity to work within a leading children’s healthcare organisation delivering high-quality diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology care.
The successful candidate will play a key leadership role within the audiology team, supporting clinical excellence, service development, and multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure optimal outcomes for children and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced diagnostic audiological assessments for infants, children, and adolescents.
- Deliver comprehensive rehabilitation services including hearing aid fitting, verification, and follow-up care.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and integrated care planning.
- Supervise and support junior audiology staff and students as required.
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and organisational standards.
- Participate in service development, quality improvement, and clinical audit initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with HIQA, CORU, and national clinical guidelines.
- Engage in continuing professional development and research activities where appropriate.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Audiology eligible for CORU registration.
- Registration with CORU (or eligibility to register).
- Significant post-qualification clinical experience in paediatric audiology.
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced audiological assessment techniques.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Commitment to high standards of patient-centred care.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
- Grade: Audiologist – Senior (384Y).
- Salary aligned with Section 38 public sector pay scales (Health & Social Care Professionals) and Department of Health guidelines.
