An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join a Children’s Disability Network Team in Dublin North. This permanent whole-time role focuses on delivering high-quality, family-centred occupational therapy services to children with complex developmental needs. The position offers the chance to work within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to service development and best practice in children’s disability services.
Table of Contents
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention for children with disabilities
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary Children’s Disability Network Team
• Develop and implement individualised care plans in partnership with children and families
• Support and supervise junior occupational therapy staff and students as required
• Contribute to service planning, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with HSE policies and professional standards
• Engage in continuous professional development and evidence-based practice
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Qualification as an Occupational Therapist recognised by CORU
• Current registration with CORU as an Occupational Therapist
• Significant post-qualification experience, including experience in children’s disability services
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Eligibility to work in Ireland

• Salary in line with HSE Senior Occupational Therapist Grade 3301 pay scale (August 2025 consolidated scales)
