Corlann Ireland, part of Brothers of Charity Services Ireland – Southern Region, is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join its Children’s Disability Network Team in Listowel, Co. Kerry. This permanent opportunity offers both wholetime (35 hours per week) and part-time options, with outreach to Tralee supporting families in the Castleisland/Farranfore area.
Job Overview
The Senior Occupational Therapist will play a key role in delivering high-quality, family-centred occupational therapy services to children with disabilities. This role offers the opportunity to provide specialist assessment, intervention, and leadership within a multidisciplinary team environment across Kerry.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and evidence-based interventions for children with complex needs.
- Work collaboratively within a Children’s Disability Network Team to deliver integrated, family-centred care.
- Develop and implement individualised intervention plans in partnership with children and families.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to junior staff and students as appropriate.
- Contribute to service planning, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional and organisational standards.
- Participate in outreach clinics in Tralee serving Castleisland/Farranfore families.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with CORU or eligibility to register.
- Relevant post-qualification experience, including paediatric practice.
- Experience working within disability or community services.
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
- Full clean driving licence and access to transport (desirable for outreach).

- Permanent Wholetime (35 hours per week) or part-time (pro-rata).
- Salary aligned with public sector consolidated pay scales for Senior Occupational Therapist (Grade 3301) in accordance with February 2026 adjustments.

Location & Employer Information
