Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Physiotherapist to join Senior Care Group Area 6 within the Integrated Health Areas of Dublin North County and Dublin North City & West. This role focuses on delivering high-quality physiotherapy services across neurology, gerontology, and rehabilitation, supporting older persons and adults with complex clinical needs. The post offers long-term career stability within Ireland’s public health service.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment in neurology, gerontology, and rehabilitation
• Deliver person-centred care across community and integrated health settings
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes
• Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and clinical governance
• Supervise and support junior physiotherapists and students as required
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports
• Participate in ongoing professional development and service audits
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Qualification in Physiotherapy recognised by CORU
• Registration with CORU as a Physiotherapist
• Relevant postgraduate experience in neurology, gerontology, or rehabilitation
• Demonstrated leadership and clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary in line with HSE Senior Physiotherapist (Grade 3158) pay scales
• Salary determined in accordance with Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales effective 1 August 2025
