University Hospital Kerry is seeking to recruit two experienced Senior Physiotherapists for Specialty Care Areas. These permanent wholetime positions offer an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in delivering high-quality physiotherapy services within a dynamic acute hospital environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced physiotherapy assessment and treatment within designated Specialty Care Areas.
- Lead and support junior physiotherapy staff and students through supervision and mentoring.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment programmes tailored to patient needs.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
- Participate in service development, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with HSE policies and professional standards.
- Contribute to departmental planning and performance management processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Qualification in Physiotherapy recognised by CORU.
- Registration with CORU as a Physiotherapist (or eligibility to register).
- Minimum relevant clinical experience appropriate to Senior Grade (Grade Code 3158).
- Demonstrated experience in acute or specialty care settings.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuing professional development.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary scale for this Senior Physiotherapist position ranges from €64,551 to €76,007 per annum, in line with HSE Senior Physiotherapist Grade 3158 pay scales and dependent on experience.
