Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is seeking a dedicated Senior Psychologist (Clinical) to join the Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) based in Newcastle West, Co. Limerick. This permanent, whole-time post offers an opportunity to lead high-quality psychological services within the HSE Mid-West region (Section 38 provider).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and intervention plans for children and young people.
• Provide leadership, supervision and support to psychology and interdisciplinary team members.
• Collaborate in designing and delivering evidence-based therapeutic programmes.
• Contribute to service planning, quality improvement and multidisciplinary case management.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with all relevant governance and safeguarding standards.
• Engage with families, carers and external agencies to promote best outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Recognised postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology.
• Eligible for appointment as Senior Clinical Psychologist.
• Demonstrated experience working within disability, paediatrics or closely related settings.
• Proven ability to lead, supervise and mentor junior staff.
• Strong communication, assessment and clinical formulation skills.
• Commitment to interdisciplinary team working and family-centred practice.

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

Grade: Psychologist – Senior Clinical (367Y)
Salary scale (1 August 2025): €98,503 – €115,784 incl. LSIs
Contract type: Permanent Wholetime
