Central Remedial Clinic is seeking a Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join the CRC Children’s Disability Network Team in Clondalkin, Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to support children and young people aged 0 to 18 with complex developmental needs as part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team working within a family-centred practice model.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality speech and language therapy assessment, intervention, and management for children and young people with complex developmental needs.
- Work collaboratively with families and interdisciplinary colleagues within a family-centred practice model.
- Support children presenting with physical and sensory disabilities, including dysphagia assessment and management.
- Contribute to coordinated clinic delivery and consultative work alongside senior therapists and wider team members.
- Assist with service delivery planning, development, and continuous improvement initiatives across the team.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and demonstrate best practice in professional standards and governance.
- Participate in continuing professional development, service evaluation, audit, education, and training activities as required.
- Help embed CRC values including Respect, Person-Centredness, Collaboration, Quality, Courage, and Stewardship in daily practice.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A recognised IASLT Speech and Language Therapy qualification.
- Current registration with CORU.
- A minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience, including work with clients presenting with physical and sensory disabilities.
- Experience working with clients presenting with dysphagia, including assessment and management.
- Excellent communication and teamworking skills.
- Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development.
- Full driver’s licence and access to a car. Candidates who do not currently meet this requirement are still encouraged to apply, as this will be discussed at interview stage.
- Desirable: experience in service delivery planning and development.
- Desirable: experience working with clients presenting with excessive drooling.
- Desirable: experience in education, training, research, or audit.
- Desirable: experience coordinating clinics and working at a consultative level alongside lead therapists.
- Desirable: interest in developing clinical skills in the area of drooling.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary for this Senior Speech and Language Therapist post follows the Department of Health salary scale for Grade Code 3379, ranging from €64,551 to €76,007 per year. This role is offered on a permanent wholetime basis, with permanent and fixed-term full-time vacancies currently available. Part-time arrangements may also be considered.

This role is based with the Clondalkin Children’s Disability Network Team at the new Primary Care Centre in Clondalkin, Dublin South. Clondalkin offers a village atmosphere with strong local amenities and transport links, including the Luas Red Line, Dublin Bus routes, and Irish Rail services to Clondalkin/Fonthill Station.
