Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is recruiting a Social Care Worker (Grade 3029) for a permanent whole-time post based in Shannon, Co. Clare. This is an excellent opportunity to support meaningful, person-centred services within a respected Section 38 organisation in the HSE Mid West region.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support
• Assist individuals in daily living, personal development, community inclusion and independent living
• Implement individual care plans and safeguarding procedures
• Promote dignity, respect and autonomy for service users
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with organisational policies
• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Support positive behaviour strategies and therapeutic approaches
• Contribute to service improvement and continuous professional development
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Relevant Social Care qualification (recognised Level 7/8 desirable)
• Knowledge of HIQA Standards and safeguarding
• Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills
• Ability to support individuals with complex needs
• Experience in disability or community services (advantageous)
• Full clean driving licence may be required depending on service needs
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Social Care Worker (3029) – With Qualification
Salary Scale from 1 August 2025: €40,351–€56,650 per annum (12-point scale plus LSI)
Contract: Permanent, Wholetime
