Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support in line with individual care plans and PCPs
- Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal development
- Promote independence, dignity, and social inclusion
- Implement and review care and support plans
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and care standards
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Support individuals with complex needs in a safe and structured environment
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Full QQI Level 7 Award in Social Care or Applied Social Care/Studies/Practice (or CORU-approved equivalent)
- Minimum 6 months recent experience as a Social Care Worker supporting complex needs
- Registration with CORU or proof of application in progress
- Strong understanding of autism and person-centred care approaches
- Knowledge of current legislation and regulations in the social care sector
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience developing and implementing care plans
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English
- Full clean manual driving licence (essential)
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale: €40,851 – €57,217 (based on experience, with Long Service Increment applicable)
Working Hours: Full-time permanent position (shift patterns may apply)
