Job Overview
This is an excellent opportunity to join Children’s Disability Network Teams across the Dublin and Midlands region as a Senior Speech and Language Therapist. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to children with complex communication and feeding needs. You will play a key role in multidisciplinary teamwork, supporting children and families to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage communication disorders in children within a disability network setting
- Provide specialist assessment and intervention for feeding, eating, drinking, and swallowing disorders (FEDS/dysphagia)
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care plans
- Support families and caregivers through education and therapeutic guidance
- Maintain accurate clinical records and reports in line with HSE standards
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
- Supervise and support junior staff and students where required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
- Registration with CORU or eligibility for registration
- Dysphagia qualification in line with IASLT 2007 standards (essential)
- Proven experience working within a Children’s Disability Network Team or similar setting
- Strong clinical skills in assessment and intervention for complex needs
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
- Access to appropriate transport to fulfil the role requirements
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale: €64,551 – €76,007 per annum (based on experience and HSE pay scale)
Contract Type: Permanent, Whole-time

- Longford and Central Westmeath CDNT, Phoenix Centre, Longford
You will be employed within the HSE Dublin and Midlands region, delivering essential therapy services to children and families in a supportive and collaborative healthcare environment.
