Key Responsibilities
• Provide safe, evidence-based midwifery care to women and families
• Support antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal services
• Promote normal birth and informed choice in maternity care
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary clinical teams
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records
• Adhere to HSE policies, clinical governance, and professional standards
• Participate in service development, audit, and continuous improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registration as a Midwife on the Midwives Division of the NMBI Register
• Eligibility to work in Ireland at the time of appointment
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based hospital setting
• Commitment to continuing professional development
• Experience in acute maternity services is desirable

• Salary in line with HSE Consolidated Salary Scales (Staff Midwife Grade 2143), as approved under national public service pay agreements
