Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred nursing care in a specialist cardiology setting
- Monitor, assess, and respond to patients with acute cardiac conditions
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Adhere to HSE clinical standards, policies, and safety guidelines
- Support patient education, recovery, and long-term cardiac health
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Relevant clinical experience in acute care, cardiology, or critical care is desirable
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-dependency environment
- English language proficiency (IELTS/OET may be required for international applicants)
- Willingness to relocate to Ireland and adapt to the Irish healthcare system
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary scale ranges from €37,788 to €56,032 per annum, depending on experience, in line with HSE pay scales. Additional benefits include pension scheme, paid annual leave, ongoing professional development, and access to training programmes.
The HSE also offers an International Recruitment Relocation Package to eligible candidates, supporting your move to Ireland (terms apply as per HR Circular 001/2023).
Contracts available include Permanent (Full-Time and Part-Time) and Specified Purpose roles, offering flexibility to suit your circumstances.
