About the Role
Location: Sligo, Ireland
Position: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: €35,068 – €52,790 per annum

Language Requirement: Fluent English
You will deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to pediatric patients across a variety of inpatient, outpatient, and day services. This role offers access to leading clinical education through SUH’s partnership with NUI Galway’s Medical Academy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care to children and young people.
- Support families with education, comfort, and ongoing care needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement best clinical practices.
- Document and communicate effectively to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in training, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with Pediatric Nursing qualification preferred.
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with empathy and professionalism.
