The Central Remedial Clinic is Ireland’s leading provider of specialized services for children and adults with physical disabilities. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in Clondalkin, Dublin, on a permanent part-time basis.
About the Role
As a Staff Nurse at Central Remedial Clinic, you will provide high-quality nursing care to clients with complex physical disabilities and medical needs. Working within our rehabilitation-focused environment, you’ll collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and medical professionals to deliver person-centered care that promotes independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care for clients with physical disabilities
- Administer medications safely and maintain accurate medication records in compliance with nursing standards
- Monitor and document client progress, vital signs, and changes in health status
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and review care plans
- Support clients and families with education on health management and care techniques
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and contribute to clinical audits
- Participate in emergency response procedures and ensure client safety protocols are followed
Required Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Relevant nursing qualification (General Nursing Diploma/Degree)
- Minimum 1-2 years post-qualification nursing experience
- Knowledge of medication administration and clinical procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in disability services, rehabilitation, or specialized healthcare settings
- Additional training in areas such as wound care, infection control, or disability awareness
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
- Understanding of person-centered care principles
