Job Overview
Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is currently seeking Staff Nurses / Enhanced Nurses to join its Athlone and Roscommon services. Key Responsibilities
• Deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care
• Support individuals with intellectual disabilities in achieving optimal health and wellbeing
• Promote dignity, independence, and choice in all aspects of care
• Administer medications and maintain accurate clinical records
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute to care planning, risk assessment, and health promotion
• Comply with HIQA standards, policies, and best practice guidelines
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registered Nurse on the NMBI Register (General or relevant division)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to person-centred care and positive behaviour support
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in intellectual disability services desirable (training provided if required)
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
