Corlann Disability Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurses and Enhanced Nurses to join their team in Knocknacarra, Co. Galway. This role offers an opportunity to support individuals with intellectual disabilities in a person-centred environment focused on dignity, independence, and quality of life. Successful candidates will play a key role in delivering high-quality nursing care within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Develop and implement person-centred care plans
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing for service users
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and best practice guidelines
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Experience in intellectual disability services or similar setting desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to person-centred care and safeguarding
- Full driving licence desirable
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary scale (aligned with Section 38 pay structure): €37,788 – €56,032 (plus LSI where applicable).
Permanent wholetime contracts available (x2 PFT and x1 TFT positions).
