Key Responsibilities
• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care within the Emergency Department
• Triage, assess, plan and evaluate care for patients with diverse and acute presentations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support continuity of care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow hospital protocols
• Participate in quality improvement, audit and patient-safety initiatives
• Support junior staff and contribute to positive team culture
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registered General Nurse (NMBI)
• Demonstrated depth and breadth of Emergency Nursing experience (as per campaign requirement)
• Strong clinical decision-making and prioritisation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to continuous professional development and high-quality patient care
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale (Staff Nurse – Grade 2135, effective 1 August 2025)
€37,288 – €55,477 per annum (+ LSI)
• Permanent, whole-time contract
