Contract: Permanent, Whole-Time
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred mental health nursing care in a forensic setting
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care plans
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with HSE standards
• Promote recovery-oriented practice, safety and therapeutic engagement
• Support risk assessment, management and rehabilitation pathways
• Adhere to professional, ethical and legislative requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registration as a Psychiatric Nurse (Mental Health Division) with NMBI
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
• Strong communication, assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in a secure forensic environment
• Commitment to continuous professional development
• Experience in mental health or forensic services is desirable

• Salary in line with HSE Staff Nurse – Mental Health pay scales (August 2025 consolidated rates)
